Paid Media Specialist / Media Buyer

Youโ€™ll join a team that values strategy, creativity, and partnership. Together, weโ€™ll define campaign goals, like awareness, lead gen, or sales, and select the right platforms and campaign types to get our clients noticed. Youโ€™ll build and manage campaigns across Google Ads and Meta Ads Manager, ensuring tracking is seamless, and optimize performance every step of the way. 


What youโ€™ll be doing:

  • Work with strategists to define campaign objectives, choose campaign types, develop audience targeting strategies, and create media plans. 

  • Build and manage campaigns across Google and Meta, set bids, placements, schedules, and optimization settings. 

  • Ensure Meta Pixel, Google Tag Manager, and conversion tracking are set up correctly, and coordinate with web and dev teams as needed.

  • Continuously monitor performance, run A/B tests, adjust targeting and budgets, and scale top-performing ads. 

  • Create and deliver regular performance reports with strategic insights.

  • Work with designers and copywriters to develop effective assets and provide briefs based on testing insights and platform best practices.

  • Stay current with ad policy changes, new features, and industry benchmarks.

  • Google Suite

  • Slack

  • Monday.com

  • Google Ads (Search, Display, YouTube, PMax)

  • Meta Ads Manager (Facebook, Instagram)

  • Meta Pixel and Google Tag Manager


The Details:

  • $20-35/hour: depending on experience

  • Hours: Part-time, flexible

  • Location: Hybrid (Calgary + area), remote-friendly across Canada for the right candidate.

  • Reports to: CEO + Lead Strategist
