Announcing the Third Big Heart Grant of 2025: Career Transitions

As part of our ongoing commitment to supporting organizations that make a meaningful impact in our communities, we are thrilled to announce Career Transitions as the recipient of the third Big Heart Grant of 2025. This year, we’re proud to provide a $5,000 Grant of Services to help Career Transitions strengthen their outreach and continue empowering youth across Southwestern Alberta. Our support will focus on updating their website and refining their sponsorship packages, ensuring they have the tools they need to grow and connect with their community.

Career Transitions is a vibrant not-for-profit organization dedicated to helping students explore career pathways, build confidence, and make informed decisions about their futures. By partnering with schools, post-secondary institutions, and local businesses, they deliver hands-on career exploration programs, events, and networking opportunities that connect students with real-world experiences and industry professionals. Their work empowers young people to discover their strengths, ignite their passions, and take confident steps toward meaningful careers.

How We’ll Help

In the coming weeks, we’ll be working closely with the Career Transitions team to understand their goals and priorities. Through our $5,000 Grant of Services, we’ll provide customized marketing and communications support — including updating their website and sponsorship packages — to help amplify their mission. This may include refining messaging, enhancing their online presence, and creating sponsorship materials and opportunities that strengthen connections with community partners.

Youth empowerment and community engagement are at the heart of Career Transitions’ mission, and we’re honoured to support their continued impact across Southwestern Alberta.

If you haven’t applied yet, there’s still time! New applicants can submit for the next Big Heart Grant of Services until February 1, 2026. The next recipient will be announced on February 15, 2026.
